Houseboat fishing : Our experience at your service

Once upon a time, there was a fishing nut whose dream was to spend his whole vacations on the water. Imagine how happy he was to learn that Barrage Gouin Lodge had fully equipped, safe houseboats where he could comfortably stay with his family or friends without ever leaving the water!

The inveterate fisherman discovered sites full of fishes. His spouse and children were pleased and impressed with the utilities on the houseboat. In that true floating cabin, they found everything they needed for a carefree stay.

Houseboat rental include:

• gas, sonar, GPS, radio-telephone, anchor, life jackets, first aid kit, spoon nets;
• 16 feet aluminum boat, double floors, 20 HP motor ;
• closed rooms *;
• drinking running water, toilet with running water, shower with hot water;
• lighting* and propane radiator, 120 volts generator;
• 8 squared feet refrigerator with a 2,2 squared feet additional freezer *, 4 elements stove with standard oven, toaster, coffee maker, icebox and ice, barbecue;
• dishes and utensils, dish soap and cloth, garbage bags, toilet paper;
• patio table and chairs, mattress, pillows with pillow cases.

* Note :

the Samuel houseboat, which accommodates 4 people, doesn't have closed rooms nor additional freezer.

Houseboat rental include:

• transportation to the houseboat;
• clearly identified, safe parking locations;
• lodge employee on site.

Houseboat rental not included :

• food, sleeping bags, soaps, towels, paper towels, worms, fish knives.
